Dash is hand signed by the Legendary Dick Smith- World High Speed Record Holder,

who set an UNBROKEN world record of 198 MPH in a 1965 Cobra on Daytona

Speedway. (that's 319 kph), the fastest officially-clocked speed ever for a Cobra.

This event occurred in Daytona at the American Road Race of Champions

in 1967 (where Dick became the SCCA's A/P National Champion).

This is probably one of the RAREST signatures of a legendary race driver ever

obtained! Dick signed the dash of this car in Las Vegas after seeing the car run

on the open road course at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Even he was impressed!

That's WHY he signed it. (NOTE: the signature can be removed easily if a

buyer does not want it on the car.)

NOTE: for clarification. This Backdraft Cobra has NOT run 198 mph.

Current mileage is 2,300 miles (11/12/05)

An AWESOME machine! VERY few reproduction Cobras handle or run like this

car. The BMW 325 suspension makes a HUGE difference.

The 392 stroker motor in this car is the PERFECT engine for a Cobra.

Excellent balance, weight distribution and runs nice and cool. Matted with the

Tremec 5 speed and 3:93 gears it HAULS butt! Yet it gets 16 mpg on the road for

long trips. This Cobra drives better and easier than my 2000 Escalade on the open

highway and has a trunk big enough for a set of Golf Clubs. Adjustable drivers seat and

extended foot area also accommodates taller drivers. A feature NOT found in most

Cobra's.

With it's easy to operate clutch I've driven this car in parades. So yes it has a couple of small

rock chips on the front end but nothing objectionable. It's not absolutely perfect but it's close.

It has won "Best of Show" TWICE. My wife loves driving it as well, even long distances.

It's docile enough to go to the grocery store or use it as a daily driver.

A truly beautiful, awesome sounding, fun car to drive and own.

FOR SALE

A new Backdraft Cobra similarly equipped sells for approximately $50,000

Legendary Dick Smith.

Body, paint, fit and finish are superb.
