RESTORATION
Air Conditioning:
Throughout this cars past life, although it came from the factory with A/C, most of the A/C components
had been removed. Presumably due to the fact that it spent MANY years on a drag-strip. Therefore,
the previous owners decided to lighten the car by removing any unnecessary components.
All of the interior A/C components are still in place and functional but everything under the hood
had been removed.
In my efforts to restore the car to it's original condition (as much as possible and still make it functional)
I am installing a new (more efficient) Vintage Air A/C & Heat unit. So the car can actually be
driven and enjoyed year-round in any weather. Not much use in having a car that's un-driveable due
to Arizona heat. Especially when it's BLACK! Right?

ORIGINAL 427 Edelbrock Intake Manifold
Since previous owners had removed the original intake, carb and air cleaner, I am restoring it to the
original condition it was when sold by Baldwin Chevrolet in 1967 with the Motion 427 engine
as it would have been at that time.

BEFORE
This is the ORIGINAL 1967 - 427 Edelbrock dual plain intake with a High Flow 850 Holley
and the original Moon Equipment air cleaner which was on all Baldwin Motion modified cars.

NOTICE how HUGE the intake runners are for this big 427. No wonder they use so much fuel! HA
THE COOLING SYSTEM
427 powered 67 Chevelle's weren't designed to be driven in hotter climates. Especially with A/C and in heavy traffic.
Therefore, I had an oversized custom built HD aluminum radiator with 13" dual electric fans and
a custom fan shroud added to improve the cooling system. Built by Ron Davis Racing Products
