Here you can see Bill putting the final touches on a few things, getting it ready for me take it home to JoLeen finally.

As you can see the dash looks great with the new clock, A/C vents and everything back together and
working again. I thought that it was all done and I was off to DMV to get it licensed and to the stereo shop
to complete the stereo installation. Then to the tire shop for a NEW set of Z rated tires.

UNFORTUNATELY we had some unexpected problems.
One of the heads turned out to be WARPED so I had them rebuild the entire top end AGAIN!
And the NEW A/C compressor turned out to be FROZEN SOLID and also had to be replaced.
Here's the freshly redone heads, with all new vales, springs, cams and cam supports, which were
line-bored for exact tolerances after the heads were re-machined for flatness.

JoLeen and I took it for a madden voyage ride up to Lake Roosevelt where we keep our boat.
It drove, rode, handled and performed flawlessly and VERY FAST. It doesn't seem to know
any difference between 50 mph and 125 mph. It handles the same at about any speed. I might
add that JoLeen was driving. HA
