This years Annual Red Mountain Car Show was impressive! They had more than 150 really fine cars, trucks
and motorcycles. Attended by hundreds of car loving students, teachers, faculty and others. The weather was
perfect and their show was a great success. I was honored to have been invited and my cars did well considering
the tight competition. The Shelby lost 1st Place to a 100% Drag prepared Trans Am with a 550 c.u i. big block
with 6 ft long wheelie bars and slicks the size of a steam roller.

Run to the Pines 2004 Car Show

These are a few photos I took at a brief stop JoLeen and I took on our way back
home Sunday from the "Run to the Pines" Car Show in Pinetop. JoLeen didn't
want to be in the pictures because her hair was all messed up, she drove the Cobra!
The canyon just north of Globe, AZ is a GREAT, long, winding road through the canyon
that is PERFECT for both our cars and we had a ball. These cars take 35 mph curves at 80
with ease. What fun! Ya Hoo!
Both cars averaged about the same gas mileage. About 12 mpg with all the fun!
We never got them over 120 mph but wanted too. Too much traffic and Smokies luming
behind the bushes!
Here's some photos of the 2004 "Run to the Pines" Car Show in Pinetop, Az.

This is an OVERVIEW of the entire show (550+ cars).
My 65 Shelby GT350R (RestoMod) on display along with other Copperstate Mustang club member cars.
We had a GREAT turnout and club representation at the show this year. We didn't let the RAIN and
HAIL discourage us. We all had a GREAT time. At least I know that JoLeen and I did. JoLeen
used the Cobra to run back and forth to the local CASINO since the show was sold out and I
couldn't get the Cobra entered into the show. Oh well maybe next year!
Here's a SHORT "COBRA" VIDEO of the Run to the Pines show, take a look at the Cobra's:

Queen Mary Car Show Long Beach, CA
August 10th, 2003
The trip to Long Beach, California was our madden-voyage for breaking in my new
347 stroker engine. When we left Phoenix it only had about 60 miles on the new motor.
Everything was new: engine, trany, hydraulic clutch, exhaust, custom motor mounts, etc.
so I left town with a lot of unknowns that could have pooped up. Thankfully the trip went
flawlessly with not one problem. My Shelby ran like the wind.
JoLeen and I with our 3rd Place Trophy and our Copperstate Mustang Club group photo.

Show in Taylor Arizona August 2003 9/11/03, Mesa, Az at a local neighborhood park
display to Commemorate 9-11 Hero's.
